Empathy fatigue or burnout is a real thing. Practising self-care, taking time out for yourself becomes ever more relevant. This is the minimum baseline for anyone seeking or providing spiritual services at this point in human evolution.

What I am feeling, and interpreting from the skies (not just now, but a couple of years ahead) is that we are being asked, or rather, required to evolve more resilient emotional circuitry.

Things are not going to calm down any time soon. Expecting them to will only cause further inertia, struggle and unnecessary suffering. So we´ve got to up our game instead.

Basically – 2012 was a threshold and we´ve been recalibrating since.

This does not mean that we can no longer afford to feel vulnerable or to recognize it as such. Suppressing your emotions is probably one of the worst things you could do. Numbing them by resorting to substances, addictive behaviors or other forms of escapism will not help in the long run either.

It means also finding strength in our emotions. Allowing the flow of energy and information that moves through the emotional channels to act in your favour, rather than otherwise.

That is (at minimum) a 2-part process:

Detoxification – unburdening the body, mind and spirit of accumulated debris

Recalibration – discovering a new way to exist within a rapidly evolving physical and spiritual climate

Here are some crystals that can help you in that process:

Aqua Aura Quartz

They will intensify your emotional experiences but they can also help you find clarity and calm at the heart of the storm. Given the astrology of the coming years, this is going to be one of the most valuable skill-sets for the spiritually inclined.

You may also want to consider Unakite. It´s a slow-acting stone that needs to be on your person (except when cleansing it) that greatly assists the process of physical and emotional detoxification.

Daily habits to clear your space and body´s energetic field will have a cumulative benefit in the long run.

Smudging your space with sage or frankincense resin
Soaking your feet or body in salt water and essential oils such as tea tree, lavender, frankincense and so on (check for contraindications before use)
Drinking purified water – shungite is often used for this purpose
Eating healthy (as best you can)
Getting enough exercise and sleep

These are simple, but powerful actions that help your physical body detoxify and align itself with new vibrations coming in from the cosmos. It might not give you an instant benefit overnight, but it´s the kind of reward that reveals itself to you with time.

Remember that emotions are connected with the element of water and that our bodies are mostly water. It is not too much of a logical leap to suggest that taking care of the flow of water in the body will support emotional re-calibration.

Also consider working with modalities that help you relieve the burden on the nervous system, e.g. craniosacral therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, herbalism – but remember to do your due diligence and go to someone who truly knows their work. There are many who do not.

Lavender or Basil essential oil (again, study before use) and the lepidolite gemstone can take some of the edge off nervous exhaustion – and to give you a little breathing space. For those with adrenal fatigue, taking that space to rest can mean feeling more tired (to begin with). And I know a lot of empaths are feeling the brunt of it at this time.

At the spiritual level all of this work ultimately relates to our connection with our bodies and the way they anchor a particular expression of your spiritual frequency. This can be modulated through the release of burdens, trauma and the practice of forgiveness.

And these are processes that take time and require daily work. Even if significant healing has been achieved, it still requires a conscious effort to stay aligned and afloat with cosmic changes.

The point being – there is no instantaneous magic wand that will make this happen in a blink of an eye. This is a process. The small steps add up to monumental leaps, over time.

Addressing this through the context of ´The Mother Wound´ may be beneficial as the foundations of your physical existence form during the gestation period in the womb. Some will address this through shamanic work that seeks to clear and heal the waters of the generational line. Others will use different modalities or paradigms to address the same issue. There is much more than can be expanded upon there.
