LETTING THE DUST SETTLE BEFORE A NEW PHASE BEGINS: THE ENERGY OF NOW (22. 9. 14)

Blessings all,

The die has been cast. The founding brick placed. Steps have been taken which locate you on whatever path or road you will take for the part of your life’s journey. Time will make the implications of your choices unfold, and Time will teach you what you need to know to make the best of them. I suspect the remainder of 2014 and much of 2015 will essentially be about deepening the foundations you have set for yourselves on the paths of your choosing – throughout the trials of the past 10 months.

The Final Grand Cross and Near-Grand Sextile of 2014 have officially ended. I suspect the Cross in particular had one last spanner to throw in the works so to speak before dissipating. The general feeling is one where ‘the dust has to settle’ before taking the next step.

But don’t worry. You’ve already done the best you can do, and what you needed to do through an incredibly intense time. The cosmos has also been sending us much intensity through powerful solar storms, which so many are sensitive to.

Even if it doesn’t look it for some, everyone will have something for which they can take pride in. Even if that measure is purely survival – know that you’ve made it through what has been an excruciating phase of release, shedding and re-alignment through absolute intensity, an astrological crucible of fire.

So by all means, dear Phoenixes and Butterflies, Celebrate!

With the Equinox tomorrow (23rd September) take the time to take stock of what you have chosen, and what you have opted not to choose. This isn’t a time for regrets, but of measurement and evaluation. Many will feel the need to rest or sleep to facilitate integration of lessons learnt and energetic choices made – Think of it as the Caterpillar’s last kip in the Cocoon before the Butterfly comes out to play.

We’ve also got several powerful planetary aspects operating in the skies at this time – these are just brief summaries of their energies as one could write an article on each!:

Mars in Sagittarius squared Neptune Retrograde in Pisces – Assertive energy triggers a wounding, particularly in the realms of the spiritual. The wound-triggerer is likely to represent a male or ‘masculine’ approach to spirituality/philosophy which more closely mirrors ‘the way things have always been done’. If said wound occurs, know that it too has its lessons to teach. Release the need to blame and judge, especially at this time.

Pluto goes Direct in Capricorn – the energy of transformation through crisis changes flow or direction. Outer (external) events are more likely to trigger crisis which lead to transformation and growth rather than inner ones, emanating from the psyche. A situation of crisis is likely to emerge through the seeming ‘pushiness’ of another person who represents the status quo or a figure/insitution of authority.

Juno in Cancer trined Vesta in Scorpio – The flow of Divine Feminine energy combines powerfully and amplifies the energies of the Priest/ess who tends the Sacred Flame. Powerful memories from lifetimes of service will be activated for many at this time, irrespective of Gender. We will be drawn to situations, people and events that connect us – at a more profound level – with the energy of the Feminine. These may not always be positive, uplifting events, particularly with Vesta involved – but potentially deeply karmic ones that pose powerful challenges. Remember the importance of sacred, sexual, intimate, and energetic boundaries at this time, and your Right To Say No if one seeks to erode them.

Vesta in Scorpio squared Lilith in Leo – Powerful men and women representing the Rise of the Feminine will be challenged to reconcile the call for Service and Sacrifice on their Paths, alongside the desire for recognition and appreciation for what they do. Here, a balance of Ego and Heart is Called For. Power can give rise to a false sense of superiority or authority, and the feelings of powerlessness to a false sense of inferiority. The idea of ‘sacrifice’ or ‘spiritual service’ can be distorted if either, both of these are present. Know that you cannot be bullied or coerced into either without the idea of ‘sacrifice/service’ losing its original meaning…. It has to come from the Heart. And don’t be put off by the word ‘sacrifice’ – nothing morbid – it can refer to time, energy, etc.

Jupiter inconjunct Chiron Retrograde – The Teacher (Guru) triggers the Soul’s Wound. Potentials of wounding through a judgmental figure that considers itself an authority of some kind, possibly on matters of philosophy or faith. The lessons of the wound make you question the role, scope and necessity of the Guru in one’s life. Some people work better with structured guidance, and others do not. There’s no ‘One Path’ that works for everyone. Bear that in mind if you feel the need to tell someone how they should approach their path – or before allowing – someone else to do the same to you. By all means speak your views about your understanding of Self-Spirit, but know that there is a difference between expressing yourself and seeking to ‘convert’ or influence another to adopt the same road as you.

Uranus Retrograde inconjunct Ceres – Radical, abrupt transformations in inner consciousness trigger perceptions of care-giving and entitlement to care. These changes in thoughts can be triggered through sudden or unusual communications, particularly through electronic media, from friends or members of your Soul Group. Roles surrounding ideas of motherhood, the mother-daughter bond, appropriate boundaries between parent and child are also given special emphasis. (Equally applies to fathers who play the traditional mothering role)

and of course — Jupiter trine Uranus Retrograde (September 26)

The Guru/Teacher harmonizes with and amplifies the Inner Awakening Process. Opportunities out of the blue are likely, ones which can expand your sense of awareness and facilitate experiences that help you Re-Member your Soul’s Essence, Purpose and Make-up in Material Incarnation. This is likely to come through an unexpected communication (often through electronic means), potentially a friend or a member of your Soul Group.

This is a Big Event. And a powerful kick-start to the new energies that have already begun to build, just as we have – and are continuing to release – older energetic alignments.

Remember – all this is happening around/as part of the build up to – the Equinox (Sept 23rd) and the Libra New Moon (Sept 24) whose effects last + / – 3 days.

The remaining shake-ups and wake-ups in this period are helping you make your understanding of Balance more concrete. You’re going to be able to better articulate your intentions – particularly as they relate to notions of equality, justice, fairness, partnerships, collaborations and bridges built between yourself and others. And just in time! For the Libra New Moon.

For those of you who work with the Hindu pantheon and/or the energies of Goddess Durga – Navaratri – the largest Hindu festival dedicated to Her will begin on the 25th. The ‘Nine Nights’ of celebration are ones which involve fasting, prayers, colourful dolls and parades (in parts of India) celebrating different aspects of Her.

Who better to start off a new phase of growth than the Mother-Protector Herself?

TRANSCENDING THE BINARY: SPIRIT/MATTER, FORM/ENERGY, MALE/FEMALE – VENUS IN VIRGO OPPOSES NEPTUNE RETROGRADE IN PISCES, 6:46 PM, 10TH SEPTEMBER 2014, GMT + 8

Blessings to all, another wake-up call from the Universe. Today’s challenge features Venus and Neptune Rx doing the now-familiar Virgo-Pisces Tango. I’ll start with Venus.

Venus takes its energy of attraction-manifestation (in its Taurus’ mode) and the energy of discernment-evaluation-balance (in its Libra’ mode) and places it in Virgo – The sign of the Virgin, the Independent / Self-sufficient Being, the Priest/ess facilitating the Birth of Spirit into Form. The one who Self-Nurtures, and Nurtures Others.

Venus (in any sign) will ask you to think/re-think:

(1) The way you perceive, evaluate or judge things – your material value system, in other words. What do you consider good/bad/beautiful/ugly/worthy/worthless, etc.?
(2) The way you relate to yourself, people, material objects
(3) The way you value, exhibit or view femininity in relationships
(4) The way you understand and express your anima (female aspect of the psyche), and respond to the same in others

In Virgo, all these questions ask you think about your sense of being able to stand on your own two feet, of feeling the need to mask your power through a facade of subservience, of not being able to see just how you can be your own savior? – And through that process of self-acknowledgement – to recognize how you can help others/the planet at the same time.

Some of the questions that may be especially worth asking now are:

Do I have a realistic idea of my own beauty or my own worth/capacity? Am I being too harsh? Too critical? Too lax? Do I adopt standards that are my own, or imposed by others? Are these empowering me or to they tear me down – if so, why do I hold onto them?

Is my job, path, or mode of service to others one that enhances my femininity, or do I use it to hide myself from the Goddess Within?

Am I applying the right kinds of standards in my business? Have I taken into account the need to ‘give back’, preserve the environment? Am I just ‘taking’, or am also creating opportunities of abundance for others?

Do I weave my work with my fertile imagination? With my Sacred connection with the Feminine? How do I create this bridge or connection?

Am I taking care of Me? Or do I spend all of my nurturing and Creative energy on Others? How do I bring things back into balance?

Are my ideas of binaries: Good/Bad, Black/White, Higher/Lower keeping me from seeing the World through the eyes of Spirit? (this is heading into the Neptune side of things)

So that’s a brief description of the challenges in one half of this dynamic – that of Venus in Virgo.

Neptune Retrograde in Pisces, which Venus in Virgo opposes is a whole other kettle of fish. Where Virgo nurtures through creation, Pisces inspires through destruction. (they can reverse roles too, but this the way they’re playing out now). We’ve all been facing the intensity of Pisces energy as part of the Supermoon so I won’t go too deeply into it here – you know what you’ve had to let go or, surrender, or sacrifice in order to find ‘the way through’.

The Virgo-Neptune Rx opposition echoes what we’ve already experienced with the Sun-Neptune Rx opposition on 29 August 2014. This was close to the time of the Virgo New Moon (25th August). You may find themes from this period, and insights replaying themselves in a different form. I refer you to my article from them for a good summary of the challenge we face now – http://wp.me/p4OUNS-5G – and I quote:

“Whilst we so often elevate the dissolution of boundaries in spiritual discourse – we often forget that certain boundaries are required – at the very least whilst we’re still learning in this Form. Be it sexual, spiritual, etheric, psychic, or other forms of boundaries – we are continually learning that these are important – healthy even. This is where the energy of Virgo comes in. She teaches us how to set realistic boundaries, but ones which Honor your Spirit and your connection with Source. That would be the balancing point between the two polarities, so to speak.”

In practical terms – it’s not the best day to begin a new relationship, or go into a business venture blindly! Have two feet on the ground, eyes wide open, before you attempt to build a castle in the clouds. If you’ve got the Venus-Neptune, Virgo-Pisces balance down, then go for it!

Venus desires enjoyment and is not averse to shutting herself from the energies of detachment and the challenges of living from Spirit. Neptune is not averse to casting illusions or escaping from the material reality that Venus both perceives and manifests. Piscean vulnerability/sensitivity is heightened now with the energies of the Supermoon still in sky (and Chiron Rx’s placement in Pisces).

Try now to take an extreme ‘either/or’ position on anything. Resist the temptation to be overly judgmental or to minimize uncertainty through the ‘blocking’ or spiritual insight that challenges you at this time. Try to stay as grounded and as connected as you can to ‘life’ if your head has been up in the heavens for too long. Remember that you incarnated here, as Spirit-in-Flesh, for a reason

Those of you who have faced this Moon and made the shift you need to will also find this energy of Venus-opposing-Neptune Rx to be a great reality check.

Those of you who are experiencing this energy as a powerful-wake up call – and who don’t know what to do with their emotions may want to ‘turn Spirit into Matter’. Channel what you feel into Creation. Write, perform, play with clay, draw, sing, talk to people, move them, move yourself – do whatever it is that you need to to

SUPERMOON IN AQUARIUS: REVELATIONS OF BALANCE by Priestess Bairavee Balasubramaniam PhD

A few notes on this Supermoon in Aquarius. This will occur at 2:08 am August 11 2014 (GMT + 8 – Malaysia), 4:08 am Aug 11 (Sydney), 2:08 pm August 10 (New York) a 18 degrees Aquarius-Leo.

Aquarius is an Air sign, contrary to its description as ‘The Water Bearer’. It has a fluid quality – in the sense that we are in fact surrounded by an ‘ocean’ of minute particles that make up the air we breathe. It is what the ancients called Ether, it is what we spiritualists understand as permeating the vacuum of space pervading the Universe.

Of all the air signs, only Aquarius has a ‘Fixed’ quality. This means that the movement of its energy seeks some kind of fixed form or definition. Whilst some of you might go – aha! but isn’t Aquarius all about unconventionality, rebellion and freedom? – others might remember that ‘breaking out’ or ‘defying the system’ depends upon some reference to what is ‘convention’/’order’/’structure’ in the first place.

It is the energy of innovation and breakthrough, associated with those flashes of genius and insight that have the capacity to change the course of the planet’s future. Aquarius also rules the energy of friendship groups, networks or associations aimed at spiritual, charitable or other altruistic causes. It has an orientation that is revolutionary, idealistic and humanitarian.

Aquarius, the 11th house and the planet Uranus are all associated with one other – their energies are often linked to the concept of the ‘Higher Mind’. What this essentially means, for those of us who channel or do other forms of spiritual work, is that the Gates of Aquarius open portals of knowledge to other realms, often from other parts of the Universe. It can equally manifest as that ability to connect with and download information directly from Source, Beyond the Self.

I disagree with the idea that it is a Higher pursuit of the Mind, in the sense of Higher being somehow Elevated in the normative sense of the term. I see Uranian energy as simply referring to Wisdom from Beyond, rather than Wisdom from Within. It is a terminological issue, which does not alter the essence of this article.

With the Moon in Aquarius, we are awakened to the ability to tap into Spirit/Source-Within-The-Self – through the Body/the Womb/through revelations by way of Gnosis as the Sub-Conscious mind opens portals to ancient Knowledge we often forget even exist.

Ultimately Gnosis and the Uranian function work well together – except that our _perception_ of the Sources of Origin of Insight Differ. One is ‘out there’, the other is Knowledge from ‘Within’. From a holographic perspective of the Universe, it’s all one and the same at the end of the day. But for students of astrology, it is an energetic difference well worth bearing in mind.

We have this powerful opportunity to open the Gateways of Information at both ends as it were – in the Heavens and in the Earth, through the Vessel or Vehicle of Self, engaging all levels of our Consciousness. The Revelations we understand now, from within or without, will link together profound wisdom that can alter your life, and the lives of all those around you as you create your own ripple of energy, moving through the Universal Aether. These energies are syncretic and synergistic – differences of ‘In/Out’, ‘Us/Them’ simply dissolve in the the Direct Experience of Knowing that will be available to all at this time.

As a Supermoon, this Full Moon occurs at a time where the Moon is closest to the Earth – it’s energy will be felt more intensely as compared to other Full Moons. However, the energetic dynamics and symbolic significance of the Full Moon remains the same – only more intense.

Full Moons – and SuperMoons – are times of culminations. They may literally or metaphysically represent a time of harvest.

You set the seeds of what you reap now during the New Moon of 30/31 st January 2014. This was a Black Moon Rising, i.e. a second New Moon in a single calendar month and marked the start of the Year of the Horse, as per the Chinese Calendar.

We are now at the midpoint of its energy. Look back to the end of January to realize what you now reap, how and why.

Other influences strongly intersecting with the energies of the SuperMoon are: its opposition to the Sun/Mercury/Lilith conjunction in Leo, the square that these objects make with Saturn and their trine to Uranus Retrograde in Aries. The Sum of these energies are channeled powerfully through the central opposition between the Full Moon and the Sun/Mercury/Lilith conjunction in Leo. I also discuss the energetic opportunities and challenges that arise with these other aspects at this time.

I would like to single out and emphasize the energy of Lilith in Leo and the implications of its opposition to the Full Moon in Aquarius. Lilith, the archetype of the Dark/Suppressed Goddess – the Woman that has been Slighted – is Rising with Her Lion.

She is Kali-Ma, She is Hekate, She is Pele, She is every man and woman who has been disallowed from expressing the wholeness and complexity of their feminine selves. All of us, have felt repression along those lines: The little girl who wasn’t allowed to run and play and express her creativity because … she was just a girl. The little boy who was told to ‘man up’ because he wanted to cry at something that hurt him.

Lilith is supported by Mercury (communicator, analyst) and the Sun (focus of consciousness, the Blessings of the Father) as She Rises. She reaches out to the Mother in the Moon and asks Her for a Vision.

This Vision will reveal a Path for us to integrate, in a way that Honors All, the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine in all Beings. A final note: We will meet so many beings as part of our ‘Soul Tribe’ aligned with this, and related causes, at this time. Celebrate those unions, and take the time to embrace one another as we Forge a New World. We may also find the need to set appropriate energetic boundaries with those that may outwardly pretend to play that role, but are in fact seeking to harness or harvest energy inappropriately. Saturn in Scorpio is your ally here, squared by the Dark Goddess. Be fair with the boundaries you set, but honor your needs and path as you do.

Lilith will also feature prominently during the Aquarius Full Moon, a few days from now. Those performing rituals to Her, or for the rise of the Feminine in general, may want to time their spiritual activities to align with the Full Moon.

 

 

This configuration energizes, charges and launches the energy of Lilith (the Suppressed/Dark Feminine) onto the World’s Stage, allowing her to emerge as a Leader, Teacher and Being in her Own Right.

 

 

The energy of Lilith in astrology corresponds to other ‘Dark Goddesses’ such as Kali-Ma, Goddess Lilith, Goddess Ereshkigal, Goddess Pele, Goddess Vajrayogini, Goddess Mariamman, Goddess Pechaiamman, Goddess Ishtar/Innana, The Morrigan, The Cailleach, Goddess Dhumavati, Goddess Hekate and other aspects of the Dark Crone / Protectoress / Mother / Destroyer (of Negativity). There are many others, including Goddesses for whom Darkness is but one aspect of their Being. I would include Lady Brighid and Lady Isis to that list.

 

 

To be a ‘Dark’ Goddess has nothing to do with being ‘Evil’. It simply means that this aspect of Divinity operates in the Blackness of the Earth, That Womb, or Eternal Night. It is She who watches over your Shadow as it moves between realms, or through different stages of birth-death-rebirth. It is She who burns so you can be Reborn; She who Destroys so Creation can continue.

 

 

To be a ‘Suppressed’ Goddess (and the two are often conflated) is to have your worship outlawed, banned, criminalized or demonized – made out to be something that it is not. It is a distortion of the protective and nurturing qualities associated with the Ancient Mother.

 

 

To be a ‘Goddess’, you only need look in the mirror and Re-member.

 

 

For there is Divinity in All.

 

 

As Lilith conjuncts the Sun (illumination, awareness), Mercury (communication, perception) and trines Uranus (revelation, insight) and the Moon (the nurturing Goddess, the Womb of the Earth) – She Awakens, Arises, and Becomes.

 

 

At this time, honor those parts of yourself cast into Shadow. Too often we believe that all that is Dark is Evil, and forget that our Shadow can simply be parts of ourselves we have no yet accepted – in this case – the (Feminine) Divinity in All Beings, and the Power She Wields.This is a time for Her to Rise, and I hope many of you will heed the call to Dance, Dream, and Embody this aspect of Sacred Energy as her influence only intensifies in the skies.Rising Woman, Rising Man, You cannot be stopped unless you choose to be at this Time. My Fire spreads through you and around you, Giving Life, Death and Birth to this World. I can no longer be Hidden.
